Hello Everyone!

How you doing, guys? Today I want to share some inspiration about our challenge. As you know, in June our inspiration is about create somebody in a male style.

So, I created this layout:

I used papers from Vintage Blue collection and embellishements from Vintage Blue and Love Games Collection. I loved to create with this papers and add some contrasting colors. See more details:

I used the expoxy words to create a journaling, writing about Betto. And finally I used a stamp as a title for this layout. I stamped it in a canvas tape.

Below the photo I created some layers using paper layer, paper stripes cutted with border puncher, some chipboard diecuts and an adesive.

Other project I wanna share for this month is one created using Happy Travels papers:

I was in the Rio last month to teach a scrapbook workshop. It was great! After the class I spent some fun moments with friends and to register this moment I made this layout. Of course, Happy Travels whole collection was perfect to it!

I used a spray ink to paint the background with several tones of blue and green. After used spray inks I paint with Pan Pastels to add some shadows. See more details below.

Oh what a surprise! A Die cut in a Whatnots pack with a vintage advertising about Rio de Janeiro! It’s so perfect to this project!

With the month’s challenge I decided to focus on two great men in my life my dad and my husband. Through thick and thin they have been pillars of strength in my life. Since my dad became critically ill I’ve had the great honor of giving back just a little of what he’s given me over the years. Here’s to all of the dads out there who inspire and fill the lives of the ones they love!

Hey there, everyone!  Yesterday we introduced a Glitz Design featured designer, Margie Romney to you!  Today we are sharing a beautiful layout that she created using the Glitz Design “Happy Travels” collection.  Check it out!

Hey there, everyone!!  We recently asked Margie Romney if she would be willing to create some projects using Glitz Design, and she wonderfully obliged us!!  So, this weekend we are going to showcase a couple of the creations that our featured designer created!  First up, let’s get to know her a little better!

Margie Romney-Aslett is a Daughter, a Sister, a Friend, a Mother, a Scrapbooker, a Teacher & Designer. If you asked her she would say, “Iʼm just a girl” Margie Romney-Aslett is a Daughter, a Sister, a Friend, a Mother, a Scrapbooker, a Teacher and Designer. If you asked her she would say, “Iʼm just a girl” Margie started Scrapbooking after the birth of her first child Megan, 25 years ago and has seen and been part of industry changes over the years as a product designer.

Margie has taught all over the United States and world. Margie loves getting out and meeting other women who have the same passion for Paper-Crafting in common. If you have ever taken one of Margieʼs classes you know she is full of energy, laughs and fun!

Margie is a girlie girl, loves the color pink, a great pedi and putting together a beautiful outfit from head to toe! 
Margie has 4 beautiful children, Megan, Brooke, Max, and Griffin. Having 2 adult daughters and 2 teenagers keeps her hip to all the latest trends, full of energy and hard working!

Margie currently is the Art Director at Bazzill Basics Paper. Margie also runs a business with her daughters Meg & Brooke, The Girls’ Loft an online kit club. Margie’s passion is Spark the Event a yearly creative event for women. She loves sharing her creativity with others & Spark is her favorite place to do it.

The next layout is also made from the Happy Travels collection. I really love the patterns and wanted to add them to a page in squares. The punched white border frames the squares. I love this picture of my children playing with one of their younger cousins. Happiness!

Hi there! If you haven’t yet took the opportunity to play along with this month’s challenge, I sincerely hope you’ll take time to do so! As always, there’s a chance to win lots of Glitz goodies, and the theme is as follows:

Let’s hear it for the men in our lives! Although it’s a true challenge for many of us (including myself) to create masculine projects, but I strongly believe that Glitz has the product that suits goth genders perfectly well. One of the things I admire about their collections, is that they fit well for just about any theme and occasion. Let me show you some examples…

This card was made entirely with the Pretty In Pink collection (apart from stamping). I put aside the pinks and used the earthy toned papers instead, to compliment the Paper Layer that I used for the base. Glitz also has a variety of amazing stamps, many of which are perfectly masculine, like this clock from Dance In Sunshine set.

For the next card, I used a cool blue base which I stamped with the grid pattern from Distressing set. It doesn’t show up very well I’m afraid, it’s a very subtle effect. I layered a transparency and stickers from different collections, and some ribbon, to frame the lovely, encouraging message.

Hello everyone. Nicole here. Today I would like to share two masculine layouts with you. For my first layout, I combined the Happy Travels and French Kiss collection to create a fun, masculine layout. I love these colors together. Gliz Design truly has a good eye for good products. I just love them to pieces!

Notice how I cut the star pattern from pattern paper.

I also cut out the little girl from the “Pretty in Pink” cardstock sticker so that I would have just a little boy and a dog in the sticker.
